ADVENTURE AWAITS

In a moment of inspiration during a backyard gathering with friends in 2013, the Founder Sarah who brought along a variety of s’mores making ingredients as her dessert contribution, was struck with the realization that a simple fire-side treat could create a heartwarming and bonding experience for everyone. The varying combinations guests chose, the preference of crispiness on each toasted marshmallow, the use of unusual chocolates and toppings that friends were willing to try had her thinking… its about time this American original got an update from its 1927 recipe. More conscious, more inclusive, and dare she say better tasting?

After much research, brand development, product testing, and legal diligence, Sarah launched a GoFundMe supported by family and friends and was able to begin her journey of entrepreneurship; DIY S’mores Kits were brought to farmers markets around San Diego and nationwide online! The ingredients and packaging have been perfected, the shelf-life improved, and dietary inclusivity expanded. Each new iteration has brought FIRESIDE Organics closer to its ultimate goal: offering every person an indulgent and meaningful treat that was created with care and intention.
